Amelie Abass

Amelie Abass’s public speaking journey began with the life-threatening birth of her son at the age of 20, when she realised that young people are not given the tools or encouragement to advocate for themselves in this country. This led her to political activism focused on youth engagement in politics. Amelie’s aim is for every young person in the UK to find their voice and use it to advocate for themselves. As of 2026, Amelie is a multi-award-winning campaigner, having won ‘Young Campaigner of the Year’ at the 2025 Inspirational Youth Awards, and was a national finalist for the 2026 Target Jobs Black Heritage Undergraduate of the Year awards sponsored by Sky.
