Judging
Amelie currently works with the ESU (English-Speaking Union) as a competition judge for its public speaking competitions, which aim to empower school-aged children to improve their public speaking. Her role involves assessing each speech and providing bespoke feedback for each student, as well as deliberating with the other judges on who goes through to the final.
Amelie has also been brought on to judge national competitions, such as the CYPNow Awards 2025 (Children and Young People Now), which involved hours of assessing online submissions and deliberating with other industry professionals on who should win.
